HOW TO WARP YOUR NEW BEAD LOOM
for Wider Beading Projects, with Parallel Warp Threads
COTTON YARN USED TO SHOW TECHNIQUE CLEARLY

Warping the Loom - first knot
Tie a knotted loop in the end of your thread.

Warping your loom - make a loop
Pull your thread up through the loop

wrap the first loop around your loom
Place this larger loop around your loom

Pull your warp knot to the front warp bar
Bring the knot to the loom's front bar


Tip the loom, front bar UP


Wrap down & around, holding w/left thumb

Wrapping the warp around to the front bar
..and back UP to the front bar

holding with left thumb, tuck the warp through..

pull up & move left thumb to this new warp
pull up & move left thumb to this new warp

do that for each warp thread you need

for narrow pieces, nothing more required

tying the warp open with soft yarn is easy to do
for wider pieces, and custom larger looms,
tying the warp open with yarn is easy to do.


Here is an alternative way to hold open
 the warp, a whittled Popsicle Stick.

After you have  your beadwork started, you will not have to worry about holding the warp open with anything but your beadwork, you will not have to keep it tied open.
