Pull your thread up through the loop

Place this larger loop around your loom

..and back UP to the front bar

holding w/left thumb, tuck the warp through..

pull up & move left thumb to this new warp

do that for each warp thread you need

tie a knot to finish

grasping all the threads, pull down

all knots & twists pulled down behind front bar

each warp thread is parallel to the others

Set your loom upright, that's how it works!

here is the way actual warp thread looks

here is my warping relaxed

for narrow pieces, nothing more required

for
wider pieces, and custom larger looms,
tying the warp open with yarn is easy to do.

Here is
an alternative way to hold open
the warp, a whittled Popsicle Stick.
