Every
loom is individually made,
so each is a one of a kind I would say. None of them are perfect, I
am
an Artist more than a woodworker, but they are made with slow care and
sanded to a lovely smoothness with comfortable
lightly rounded ends and edges. The wood feels so nice to work
with, warm and real. Nothing sharp, cold, or harsh.
Each
loom has the Four
Sacred Medicines
hidden in the frame beneath tight wooden plugs: Semah (Indian Tobacco),
Cedar,
Sweetgrass, and Sage. All hand gathered or gifted,
nothing bought. I hand braid the tension rod ties
from 4 strands of soft cotton twine, to honor the 4
directions. Every bead loom is been designed
by an Artist of Ojibwe Metis, First Nation, and American
Colonial Heritage (me). My family now builds these here at home,
and I make certain each one is of highest quality and smooth as silk
before it is packed to come to you.
These
bead looms are easy on your back, and comfortable to work with. You can
sit up at the table, rest the loom in your
lap on a folded towel, or
even prop yourself up in bed. You will find these bead looms
have
just the right weight and angle to make beading a real pleasure.
There's are magnets on the uprights to
keep your needle from getting lost when you take a break (except the
MINI).
As you work you
simply slide the beadwork down and around the warp bars. There are two ways to warp these
looms: a
simple wrap and tie, or you can use the wide warping method. Either
way, warping is quick and easy.
I am really
proud of these loom designs, and I am certain you will like your loom.
I have several
with beadwork on them going at once, and the kids really like working
with them
because they are not "flimsy" or delicate, or complicated (or too
expensive to let them use!). They look great while your beadwork is
growing, I think that's important. All in all, we just love offering
these looms to you.

It is normal for it to take about
week to get your loom completed and shipped. It may be sooner (some
times a little longer). We will write and let you know when your loom
is shipped. We send the looms out PRIORITY within the U.S, and
International FIRST CLASS MAIL elsewhere. Every bead loom is very
carefull packaged.

The loom arrived, I
have to say that it is the most beautiful piece of workmanship I’ve
ever
seen! I am so incredibly thrilled with the craftsmanship, the styling,
everything! I hope you are making many of them and selling to people
all over. S.B.
I
just wanted to
tell you I started a piece on your loom--what an
enjoyable experience! One thing I love is how sturdy the loom is and
how it stays in place. I also love the angle of it--I bead with the
loom straight in front of me and the upward angle means no more leaning
over the loom--just excellent!! R.O.
I
got home ... and my loom was waiting. I was so excited and beaded a
piece that could be made into a bracelet. The
loom is easy and comfortable to put in my lap and work with in my easy
chair. R.H.
Just
received your loom. It's
beautiful and as smooth as silk! Can't
wait to bead. N.B.
